we picked up couple more gorgonians recently and a black sun coral @ seamax this past weekend.



i've made the decision to transition over to azoox since we've had really shitty luck keeping sps, but do really well keeping lps and non-photosynthetic colonies. i've got my eye on a few pieces over @ the live aquaria diver's den. hopefully, i'll get the sponges, tunicates and spiral wires i've always wanted. cross your fingys! :)

toby ate the fauna marin i bought at seamax

all the fauna marin gorgonian is gone  and the seafan stuff is all over his little crate carpet. at least he didn't get the ultra min d! *sigh!* my fault for leaving it out on the counter. grr!

teeny tiny acro crab molt

this is from the little guy living in our red selago I picked up a couple weks back...

i flooded our utility room this weekend!

we ended up leaving the water running for HOURS, which ended up totally flooding our utility room space.  we had to cut out drywall + pull out soggy insulation, but luckily we caught it before it could do some real damage.  it's drying out as we speak.  moral to the story is = don't by-pass the auto-shut-off switch!  :)  anyhow, here's some hi-res pix brad took over the weekend... enjoy!

mb50g is back in biz! ...again!

we've got a new ro/di setup which makes water changes x100 easier so we're back to regular h2o changes, which means healthier corals! to celebrate we've added a few new pieces to our collection:

- green + white long tentacle fungia
- purple + green short tentacle fungia
- neon green short tentacle fungia
- redish-orange gorgonian
- neon green hydnophora
- pink + green frogspawn
- green busy acro colony
- red selago acro colony
- 3 chromis
